Three Keys Labyrinth Retreat

Unlock Your Inner Strengths using the Three Keys of Labyrinth walks, Symbolic Art, and Guided Journaling

The first key is walking the labyrinth. The labyrinth walks provide a sacred space to walk and have contemplative time. The second key is symbolic art creation, done solo and as part of a group mosaic. The third key is short, guided journaling exercises inspired by prompts.  These three powerful practices create a profound synergy where we can more easily tap into and see our unique strengths. Actual bronze keys are used as metaphors and offer an artistic reference point.

The structure of the retreat includes

  • Three guided labyrinth walks accompanied by live Native flute playing
  • Guided labyrinth drawings
  • Labyrinth art mosaic as a group
  • A professional PowerPoint presentation on the fascinating history of the labyrinth
  • Silent group journaling activities, using the metaphors of the labyrinth and keys
  • A simple breathing practice to go a little deeper into your inner world
  • Simple T’ai Chi Chih movements which can be done seated or standing
  • A sacred sound bath for integration

The Three Keys Labyrinth Retreat is a time for personal renewal and spiritual insights. This time of contemplative rest is designed to illuminate your signature strengths and refresh your mind, body, and spirit.

This retreat was held twice in 2025:

At San Damiano in Danville CA

Here are testimonials from participants:

"I had the blessed experience of taking several labyrinth walks with the presence of live music of the Native flutes. I have never had as deep and meaningful a journey on the labyrinth as the ones in the presence of the deeply heart awakening sounds of the Native flute. The depth and breadth of the "voice" of the Native flute created a transcendental space within the walk that broadened the liminal space that allowed for a deepening of that experience. I look forward to future interactions with this amazing instrument."

"My study and experience of labyrinths, and my personal journey, were greatly deepened by the Native American style flute music that Ami so graciously played throughout our retreat at the Mercy Center. Natural, grounding sounds enhanced my experience and helped me to feel rooted to Mother Earth."

               -Regina T.

"When Ami accompanies our labyrinth walks with her flute playing, it’s like she’s ushering in the sound of the sacred to the walk.  Her music hovers over the space and seeps into the soul.  There are few things more powerful than sacred sound to connect one with Spirit. I am so grateful to have walked with her."
